I started a blog for Utah Artists, and I wanted us to have a bi-weekly topic to draw something about.  So the first subject was Little Red Riding Hood.  I think I wanted to push the characters even more, but it was a first try.  The Beach Party one is my latest designs for Del Sol.

I did this picture in hopes of giving Carlos Boozer and the Jazz good luck.  Well so much for that, I guess we'll have to wait till next year.

I doctored up a photo I took of the LDS Salt Lake Temple.

These are couple finished pieces that I have done.  I feel like I am getting closer to accomplishing my goal of making my own illustrative style.  Tell me what you think.

Just some more stuff.

Howdy, I have had this idea about doing Caricatures for people online.  I found some pictures of some girls and did these Caricature/portraits.  I'll keep toying with the idea, as I need to get my real website up and running to make it work.  Then I have been doing some more illustrations trying to work on my style.  So there are some more illustrations with that in mind.

This is my Aunt and Uncles house that we stayed at that night.  It was really nice.

These are pictures of an old movie/tv set where they used to film the show Gunsmoke as well as other western movies.  All the buildings were pretty functional, we used to be able to into them, but it's all fenced off now.  After we had some lunch we drove out here, east of Kanab in a place called Johnson Canyon.  Further up we saw this sign etched in the sandstone, as Johnson Canyon used to be the old Highway, so the sign was kind a like a billboard.  The white cliffs are awesome they are part of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, you can see in a couple photos the HooDoo's of Bryce National park.  ( A HooDoo is a large red sandstone spire)

These are a couple designs that I've been working on for the last little bit. The Dragon has taken me a while, but believe it is finally done, and the titan one is still just an idea for some upcoming conference in Alaska. I'll just keep on keepin' on.

I am really glad that I have this new job. I get to do cool artwork at work, and now I have the freedom to draw and come up with ideas and projects for myself at home. I really love illustration, and have started to work on a style that represents me. So These are some of what I am coming up with so far,

This is my newest design for Del Sol. It is for the Alaskan stores who wanted a humorous Alaskan t-shirt, so this was my idea and design. This Artwork is copyrighted to Del Sol 2008.

Here are some of my designs that will be coming out in the new Sol Kids, and Cariloha stores in January. The first three stores of both brands will be in Cozumel, St. Thomas, and Jamaica. Sol Kids will start going into malls sometime next year. The Sol Kids designs along with the Del Sol designs are unique in the fact that they change color in the sun, so in designing them you have to design them to look good indoors and outdoors, so the Bonefish design and Tiger Shark design show you how it looks indoor and outdoor.

My Uncle is starting an ATV touring company in the southern Utah town of Kanab, (where I grew up). So I've designed the logo. The Shark is a design that I did for Del Sol. We decided to go a different route so I decided to post it.

With my new job, and the stability that it brings, I'm planning on doing some fine art. I have some ideas for some paintings that I'd like to do, and try and get into some galleries. This sketch of an eagle is a sketch idea that I want to turn into a painting.
